Why do I do what I do?
I write because I cannot imagine not doing so.
Writing gives me space, time for reflection, healing, and an outlet for my voice.
I teach because I live for that moment when a person's eyes light up and
they realize that their words have power and they have something
worth saying to the world.
I edit because I want each person's writing to reflect
the best of who they are.
